M&I Systems, Co. one of the founders of the e-Government alliance

M&I is among the founders of the E-Government Alliance, as one of the 20 most prominent companies in Serbia, members of NALED, that have the capacity and knowledge necessary to provide support to the Government and relevant institutions in establishing an e-registry and e-services. The Alliance is known for its members that have the reputation, professional capacities and foster commitment to the principles of corporate governance and accountability.

The E-Government Alliance is an expert working body founded as part of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development – NALED. NALED is an association of companies, municipalities and civil society organizations working together to create better living and working conditions in Serbia and connecting almost all sectors of society. In 10 years of doing business, NALED has become a leader when it comes to the promotion of dialogue between the private and the public sector, it has gathered around 220 members and created a network of partners consisting of more than 40 state institutions and international organizations.

The E-Government Alliance was formed with the aim to define the economic recommendations for improving the business environment in Serbia through the development of e-administration and e-services. The leading members of NALED founded the E-Government Alliance in order to improve the business environment, promote, as well as support the improvement of e-government in Serbia.

The strategic goals of the Alliance are related to the improvement of the regulatory framework for the development of e-administration and e-business, reduction of costs and administrative burden for both businesses and citizens by establishing e-services, strengthening institutional capacities and improving business processes in public administration, as well as the efficiency and transparency of its work, the reduction of corruption, as well as improving Serbia’s competitiveness.

The E-Government Alliance was founded by Asseco SEE, Cisco, Comtrade, Eurocloud, IBM, KPMG, M&I Systems, Mera software services, Microsoft, Native, Osa, Prozone IT solutions, S&T, SAP, SBS, Siemens, Solving IT solutions and services, Telegroup, Telekom Srbija and Telenor.
