Strauss Adriatic operates within Strauss Coffee, a multinational company which has owned Doncafé i C kafa brands since 2005. Strauss Coffee B.V. is a branch of the company specializing in coffee production and it is the fifth company in the world when it comes to raw coffee turnover. Strauss Coffee B.V. is one of the 10 largest coffee production companies in the world, employing more than 6,000 people. Since 1991, the company has widened its business through organic growth, takeovers, and partnerships. The local teams enjoy the support of experts from the company headquarters in key areas, from the procurement of raw coffee in Switzerland, through corporate finances and research and development in Israel, to takeover and merge, human resources, strategic marketing, and innovations in the Netherlands. Strauss Adriatic (Doncafé) factory is one of the 14 production units suppling 15 coffee markets around the world. In Brazil, the largest producer of coffee in the world, Strauss Coffee has four factories and the leading position in the retail market. Strauss Adriatic is the second largest company on the retail market in Serbia (Doncafe and C kafa), as well as the leading local coffee brand on the HoReCa market.
